We're in double digits today! The heat is on for sure! Enough so that no kids were out playing today. Saw a few coming home from the pool only to find out that the water is warmer than a bath. (That does not sound fun!) The boxes are growing and I think the plants really dig the heat as long as they are watered. It's time to pick eggplants, our first zuc, a squash, and a few tomatoes. I'm trying to wait for my friends ... but, I think one of the big tomatoes will need picking tomorrow for sure! It's fun to see that the cucumber is starting to sprout. The A/C man was over yesterday for my annual maintenance call and had to unlatch the cuc vines from the unit. Hence, I'm happy to see that they're progressing.
