I was happy to see "Troy" and his mom today. When I asked my little neighbor if he wanted to cut back some herbs, he was game! It was totally time to cut back the basil so that we can generate more growth. So, Troy did lots of harvesting today ... which he really seemed to enjoy. He's one of our youngest growers and it was fun for me to see him get into cutting eggplants and basil. He went home with lots of loot ... and I got a bit of basil as well (and a hot pepper!). I'll be making some pesto and salsa! I look forward to seeing what they make.
It is amazing to see that the sunflower popped overnight! Gardening is really amazing!
