The kids came by this afternoon to check things out and to water. We ended up cutting six purple eggplants! The eggplants went to next door with Daris and Alex. It will be fun to see what their mom makes. This evening when I was "walking" Bogey, I met up with my neighbor, Mac (Daris and Alex's dad). We were yapping about life and the pursuit of happiness when Alex comes outside with the laptop. She wanted her dad to get to the blog site. He did a Google search using 'Project Big Hugs'. Jamie Oliver's site popped up and showed our group picture with our blog information. HOW COOL IS THAT!!!! (I did post the blog on Jamie Oliver's site ... it's just very groovy that with a Google search, that's what pops up!) Once Alex got the site ... she trotted herself back into the house, kicking off her Crocks without missing a beat. TOO FUNNY! I love that Alex is checking out the blog and keeping up with things.
