Tomorrow is the last day of school for the neighborhood kids. They go in for a whole two hours!! "Schoooool's ouuuut for summmmerrrrrr!" For some reason, the kids were no where to be found after swim team. Needless to say, no planting happened today. Hopefully tomorrow.In the meantime, our plants keep on growing. The sunflowers got transplanted into a bigger pot a couple days ago and they're much happier. I added some mint to the pot, too. (The mint came from my Pop's and Pat's yard -- thanks, guys!) The pumpkin has some beautiful flowers and the watermelons are getting some little buds, too. It's hard to remember how little these seedlings were just a little bit ago. The pepper is getting huge and soon I'm SURE it will be RED! And, we're getting some buds on the yellow pepper plant, finally! And, lots and lots of tomatoes are coming our way!
