It's amazing to me how fast the garden is growing. This afternoon, the next door neighbor kids came over to water. I showed them our eggplant. They were pretty excited, too. The growth looked a lot like yesterday's post. Now, understand, it was a short day at school and all, and we had a good thunderstorm ... but, this evening when I was hauling around the trash can, I wanted to take a looksy again at the eggplant. (I'm really not sure WHY I'm so charged about eggplant - but, I am!) I was SHOCKED at how much they've grown since this AFTERNOON!!!! Way cool. The eggplant wasn't alone. The whole lot has sprung ... Before I know it, were going to be totally ripe and the co-op will be open!
