I didn't get started on the box until after the USA World Cup game. (I won't get into a commentary over that .... but, I must say, that should have been a win! I hope our next game is BORING!) I had to go to Fisher's to get some different screws because I got the wrong ones while getting my supplies the day before. So, I got started around 12:30. HOT time of day, but you gotta do what you gotta do! ;-) I took a couple breaks to watch the England game.
I had several extra pieces this go around (two extra legs and four spins) and didn't get enough brackets to secure the legs. That 6 x 2 math threw me! YIPES! Thankfully, my awesome neighbor (the one that lent me the power drill!!) had some extra "L" brackets from shelving from IKEA. At the foot installation phase, I was so close to being done with that build and I was so thankful to be able to finish it and get it put into place -- Thanks to K & S!

The kids were around this evening and we dumped the lava rocks and potting soil ... of course I need more! But, it's a good start! I'll get some more soon (and some plants) and at that point, we'll add the hummus and the rest of the soil and get it going.

I'm please with how the box turned out. This one is 7 feet by 3 feet ... the first one is 8 feet by 2 feet. Like I said, I can't help it. It will be great to have room for lettuce and other veggies. Note to all: There is no room for any more boxes!
