The squash is really starting to form from the flowers, too. Such a change from the last post. More tomatoes ... more vine growth with the cucs ... it's so fun!

On another note: I think that our "red" pepper is actually a green one. I know ... the COLOR should have given it away. But, I just thought that it would "ripen". Yep. I'm pretty quick with this whole gardening gig ... but, I'm a fast study. :-) Anyway ... maybe the Yellow Pepper plant will actually give us yellow peppers. Time will tell.
While in the garden tonight with my friends, it was clear that another planter box will need to be built for the fall or next year. There is just too much potential! The location has been figured out ... now, it's just the actual size that is debatable. Lettuce and carrots are in our future. As well as a rain barrel and a composting set up. I've got a wooded area behind my house and I'm considering setting up a little area back there (on the down low) to compost ... I'm still doing a bit of research, though.
