Nobody had any fun putting their personal touches to the planter. :-) It's been fun to see it coming together. That evening, I sprayed the outside of the box with a sealant. The next morning, we had a light rain ... no big deal.
Earlier in the day, I purchased plants at Wal-Mart. This is when I realized that all my hours of planning really didn't matter too much because I had to go with what was available. Sometimes, this is the best approach anyway. (At least with my first attempt! Next year I will approach things a bit differently.)
Two days until Planting Day!
